Vancouver City Tour(3.5 hours)
A deluxe motorcoach tour will show delegates the beauty and artistic diversity of the city. The adventure begins with a drive through world famous Stanley Park, a 1,000 acre forest set in the heart of downtown.
The Park's scenic drive includes Lost Lagoon, a stop at the Totem Poles, Prospect Point and Brockton Oval while providing excellent views of the city, harbour and shoreline. The tour continues along seaside beaches to Queen Elizabeth Park to view the Sunken Gardens.
Other tour highlights include exotic Chinatown, the second largest such community in North America and nearby Gastown with its quaint cobblestone streets, steam clock and unique shops all housed in turn-of-the-century buildings. This tour promises a diverse and interesting sampling of the city sights.
Guided City and Stanley Park Seawall Bike Tour(4 hours)
Vancouver is unique in the world in that its downtown is surrounded by a spectacular Seawall which makes a guided bike tour one of the best ways to see Vancouver. Your bike tour begins in historic Yaletown on the banks of the ocean inlet known as False Creek and continues on a leisurely tour past yacht clubs, beaches, housing developments, beautiful English Bay and around the Stanley Park Seawall with its magnificent views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains. The tour includes stops at the Totem Poles, beaches and scenic view areas for lots of picture taking.
Parks, Homes and Gardens Tour (4 to 5 hours)
Vancouver is surrounded by mountains, ocean and forest. The mild Pacific climate provides ideal conditions for fabulous garden settings. This excursion begins with a drive to the beautiful Nitobe Memorial Gardens at the University of British Columbia. Lovely views of the harbour and distant North Shore Mountains can be seen when touring the Oceanside scenic drive en route to the gardens. Nitobe Garden is considered to be one of the most authentic tea and stroll gardens outside of Japan. Afterwards, the tour continues to the picturesque Queen Elizabeth Park. Once an abandoned rock quarry like Victoria’s Butchart Gardens, it is now a 130 acre vista of spectacular sunken gardens and decorative parkland. Then it is on to the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Garden, situated in Vancouver’s Chinatown. This is the first Ming Dynasty Garden assembled since the 1500’s, and the first one of its kind outside of Mainland China. En route back to downtown Vancouver, the motorcoach will drive guests through Gastown, the oldest part of Vancouver and the original site of the city.
North Shore Excursion (4 to 6 hours)
This tour will surprise participants with the natural beauty of Vancouver’s North Shore and spectacular city, mountain and ocean views.
A deluxe motorcoach will take you via Stanley Park and the impressive Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore, winding up the Capilano Canyon to the base of Grouse Mountain, where guests ascend by gondola to Grouse's 3,700 foot high vantage point. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Vancouver and the Gulf Islands as you explore the summit.
Another highlight is a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Nature Park. When built in 1888 this bridge was the first of its kind spanning 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River. The Suspension Bridge is surrounded by towering firs and walking trails.
Lynn Canyon North Shore Adventure and Walk (3 to 4 hours)
One of the best ways to explore the North Shore wilderness without going far from the City is to visit one of its four fantastic canyons.
This fun adventure takes the outdoor enthusiasts on an exciting tour away from the skyscrapers of the city to the skyscrapers of Mother Nature. Giant Cedars and Douglas Fir trees greet guests as they cross the spectacular Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, offering stunning views of the Canyon below. While walking through this breathtaking park, watch the steam rise from the forest floor and the misty sun rays pick their way through the overhanging branches. Steveston Village and Marine Wildlife / Whale Watching Tour (6 to 7 hours)
Join us on an exciting adventure and live Western Canada’s unique natural beauty. This experience takes you to some of the most diverse wildlife on the Pacific Coast. You will travel by motorcoach to the historic fishing village of Steveston and board first class, modern vessels that will take you through the Gulf of Georgia and the San Juan Islands to see the diverse marine ecosystem of Canada’s West Coast. Sightings may include grey whales, on rare occacions the famous Orca whale, bald eagles, sea lions and more. Upon return to Steveston, you will have time to stroll through the picturesque village.
Victoria / Vancouver Island Full Day Excursion (12 hours)
Visit picturesque Victoria and world-famous Butchart Gardens. This full day excursion starts with a 90-minute ferry ride through the scenic Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island where there is ample time to admire the floral splendors of Butchart Gardens and explore Victoria's Inner Harbour and attractions. Enjoy a scenic drive into downtown Victoria and then explore the city center on your own. Visit attractions such as the world-famous Fairmont Empress Hotel, British import shops, Parliament buildings, Provincial Museum and other attractions around the Inner Harbour before departing on the adventure back to Vancouver.
Whistler Alpine Excursion (10 hours)
Travel to Whistler, one of North America’s greatest Ski and Outdoor resorts and co-host of the 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. A deluxe motorcoach will take participants along the stunning Sea to Sky Highway which overlooks spectacular Howe Sound, with its striking views of the waterways and Coastal Mountains. In addition, guests will be treated to a stop at Shannon Falls. At over 1000 feet it is one of North America’s highest waterfalls. In Whistler, guests will have free time to explore the village or enjoy lunch at one of the many fine restaurants the resort has to offer. There is also ample time to take an optional Gondola Ride to the top of Whistler Mountain. The park and forest surroundings offer wonderful hiking trails and bicycle paths.
